Snow all year round
Winter typically begins in late October and lasts until the end of March, although the duration can vary depending on altitude. Even as spring approaches, opportunities for ski-touring on the high plateaus of Arabel-Suu in May or snowshoeing in April in the Chong Kyzyl Suu gorge still abound.
In summer, it often snows at altitudes of over 4,000 metres. There are some beautiful smooth glaciers on the glaciers to the south of the range.
Yurt stays
Spending a night under a yurt in the heart of the wilderness offers a truly immersive experience into the nomadic lifestyle of the region. It's not just about accommodation; it's a journey back in time, where the simplicity and warmth of nomadic hospitality shine through. What's truly remarkable is that these experiences not only provide travelers with unforgettable memories but also contribute directly to the livelihoods of local communities.
