Chinggis Khaan International Airport, located near Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, serves as the primary gateway for travelers entering the country. It is named after Chinggis Khaan (Genghis Khan), the legendary founder of the Mongol Empire, reflecting Mongolia's rich cultural heritage.

The airport underwent significant renovations and expansions in recent years to accommodate the growing number of passengers. While primarily serving domestic flights, Chinggis Khaan International Airport also operates international flights to destinations like Frankfurt, Prague, Almaty, Seoul, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk or Istanbul.

Travelers can enjoy modern facilities at the airport, including duty-free shopping, restaurants, currency exchange services, and car rental facilities. Upon arrival, visitors should be prepared for immigration and customs procedures, including visa requirements and baggage inspections. When entering in the airport, international flights are situated on the left side, and domestic flights on the right side.

Several transportation options are available from the airport to Ulaanbaatar city center (60km, 1h30 drive), including taxis, airport shuttle buses, and car rentals.
