Garmchashma

Garm Chashma is a popular hot spring resort located in the Pamir Mountains in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan. The name "Garm Chashma" means "hot spring" in Tajik, known for its natural mineral-rich healing properties. The water temperature ranges from 40 to 60 degrees Celsius (104 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit).

The hot springs are located in a narrow valley surrounded by Bidjunt mountains, 40km south of Khorog, on the western slope of the ridge Shahdarinskogo. The travertine hill has natural pools 0.5 to 20 m2 in area and 0.6 m. deep, including public and private pools, as well as a separate women's pool.

The water at Garm Chashma is said to have a range of health benefits, including relief from joint pain, skin diseases, and respiratory problems. The springs are also believed to be effective in treating digestive disorders, and some people come to Garm Chashma specifically for one of its 70 therapeutic benefits.
