Arrival in Ashgabat International Airport and visit of the Turkmen capital
Upon arrival at Ashgabat International Airport, there will be a transfer to the hotel for check-in, accommodation, and relaxation. The day's itinerary includes a full-day exploration of Ashgabat city. Highlights comprise a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed "Ancient Nissa" fortress ruins within a state historical and archaeological park. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant. The program also features visits to the "Turkmenbashi Ruhy" mosque and the family mausoleum of the first president of Turkmenistan, the "Ertogrul Gazi" mosque (a gift from the Republic of Turkey to the Turkmen nation), as well as the Monument of Independence and the Arch of Neutrality. The day concludes with dinner at a local restaurant, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
