Your Journey
Journey from Cholpon-Ata to Chong Kemin National Park
In the morning, we leave the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, the world’s second-largest mountain lake, shimmering under the morning sun and framed by the snowy peaks of the Tien Shan. Before heading inland, you may choose to visit the open-air petroglyphs of Cholpon-Ata or Ornok, explore the Regional Museum, or the cultural complex of Rukh Ordo.
We then drive toward the heart of Kyrgyzstan, with the option to stop for a short two-hour hike in the spectacular Konorchek Canyon — a labyrinth of red rock formations sculpted by wind and time.
In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Chong Kemin National Park. Upon arrival, you can take a walk or go horseback riding through its lush forests and mountain meadows, breathing in the pure alpine air.
Dinner and overnight stay at a charming guesthouse inside the park, surrounded by peaceful nature.
