Transfer to Tash Rabat and passing the Sino-Kyrgyz border

We leave Kashgar in direction of North. The road climb till the Torugart pass (3742 m), one of the legendary pass of the Great Silk Road and Central Asia. After the Chinese and Kyrgyz border post, we arrive on the shore of the Chatyr Koel lake, a geat stop for migratory birds. The road turn around the lake and the At-Bashi range till the valley of Tash Rabat. We go up utill we reach the caravanserail, build during the XIth century. It served as an inn for merchants, ambassadors, travelers and other wanderers. Lost among the primeval wilderness, far from inhabited locations, the caravanserai looks unbleached, monumental and unassailable. It is notable not only for its size and building materials, but also for its special layout, based on perfect symmetry. Enjoy the nature and the opportunity to see yaks that are very popular animals on hight plateau of the Naryn region. Overnight in yurts.
