Your Journey

Kazarman - Kyzart

1  January - 31  December

In the morning, we leave the remote town of Kazarman and set off across the vast open plain that surrounds it. As we head north, the landscape gradually transforms, and we enter a spectacular canyon carved by the Naryn River. The road winds along its course, revealing sheer cliffs, dramatic rock formations, and the ever-changing hues of the river. This breathtaking scenery follows us as we ascend, with the contrast of red rock walls and green pastures creating an unforgettable panorama.

Further along, the Naryn River meets the rushing waters of the Kekemeren River, where the road turns eastward. We follow the Kekemeren upstream, entering one of Kyrgyzstan’s most stunning landscapes—a narrow gorge lined with deep red cliffs and lush green terraces. The ever-shifting light plays on the rock faces, enhancing the vibrant contrast of colors.

At the village of Aral, the valley begins to widen, and the river calms as we continue toward the district capital, Chaek. From here, we leave the Kekemeren behind and ascend onto the high plateau that stretches between the Song-Kul mountains and the Jumgal Too range. The road follows the Jumgal River, winding through vast open grasslands where nomads graze their livestock during the summer months.

By late afternoon, we reach the village of Kyzart, a gateway to the Song-Kul region and a peaceful settlement surrounded by rolling hills. Upon arrival, we settle into our guesthouse, where we are welcomed with traditional Kyrgyz hospitality.

Dinner and overnight in Kyzart.

Optional : visit of the Ak-Kel mountain lake, hike in red canyons of Kyzyl Korgon, visit of losted Ming Kush town
