Your Journey
Discovering Wildlife at Tash Rabat gorge
Following breakfast, we bid farewell to the Naryn Valley and embark on a journey to the picturesque At-Bashi Valley. To the south, a striking 135-kilometer-long mountain range dominates the landscape, with the majestic peak of Djel Tegirmen towering at 4789 meters above sea level. Traversing along the range's western edge, we make our way to the mystical caravanserai of Tash Rabat, nestled in a stunning valley characterized by smooth contours juxtaposed against rugged, vertical grey cliffs. Upon arrival, our guide provides insights into the local wildlife sightings from the preceding days, emphasizing our commitment to responsible wildlife observation practices. Following a hearty lunch, we set off on a hike in search of wildlife tracks, ensuring to follow our code of conduct to minimize our impact on the wildlife. We retire for the night at a mountain refuge near the ancient caravanserai.
