Tash Doeboe (Song Kul's lake)

Your Journey

Drive to the North shore of the Song Kul lake (Kumdu Suu)

1  June - 10  October

Starting from the Tash Doeboe jailoo, your day can be tailored to your desires. Accompanied by your guide, you can set off to explore ancient petroglyphs or the mysterious stones of Tamerlan, remnants of what was probably a gathering place and site of nomadic celebrations. You can also stroll along the peaceful shores of Song Kul Lake, home to ducks and other migratory birds, or explore the wild canyon of the Song Kul River, which is also dotted with petroglyphs.

After crossing the bridge over the river, you will have some free time to soak up the nomadic lifestyle: watch the animals being milked, share a cup of tea, or simply admire the tranquility of the landscape.

At the end of the day, we will head to a second yurt camp further north, where you will be welcomed according to Kyrgyz tradition.

Overnight stay in a yurt.
