Program

On the road to Kyzart village
A day road to Jumgal valley, through the Boom gorge, the Orto Tokoï reservoir, Kochkor and Kyzart pass.
(options for this day: visit of Burana tower, walk of 2-3 hours in the Konorchek canyon, to pass by the west shore of Issyk Kul lake, handicraft show in Kochkor, rafting in Chuy or Chong Kemin river 2-3 hours)

Horseback riding to Kilemche valley
After breakfast, we leave Kyzart village to get to Kilemche jailoo (pastureland). We take horses and ride the 20 km long track up to the pastureland. The winter scenery of this valley is stupendous, and there are still many shepherds with their animals on the pasturelands, as some families live there all year round.
We get accommodated at a shepherd family’s yurt or house and we will have time to get immersed into their daily life.

Heading to Song Kul lake
This morning, we take the path to reach the shores of Lake Song Kul. On skis, snowshoes or on horseback, and depending on the snow conditions, you will choose your favorite activity to reach the immense plateau of Lake Song Kul. All morning, we climb to the Tuz Ashuu pass by road, then from the pass, we descend to the shores of the lake, which we follow to reach our winter camp in yurts.

A winter day on the frozen Song Kul's lake

Skiing in the morning, then drive to Bishkek
In the morning, you horseride till the pass of Tuz Ashuu, then you will enjoy 6 km downhill skiing till the Kilemche river where your driver will be waiting for you. Drive to Bishkek. Dinner in the town. Installation in our guesthouse.
Excellent travel company. The organization of the trip with Bakyt went very smoothly; he was very attentive and flexible regarding our requests. Our guide Aisuluu spoke perfect French (as well as Russian, Kyrgyz, and English) and was always able to answer our questions and was very caring. The driver who accompanied us was also very friendly. We had a wonderful week in Kyrgyzstan. The hospitality of the people who hosted us deeply touched us. Highly recommend the Nomadsland agency for any travel in Central Asia for the quality of their services and their kindness.
Excellent agency based in Bishkek. Quick follow-up on preparations, very attentive, flexible, and above all professional. The itinerary and any potential adjustments were well-managed. The trip went as planned (13 nights) with bonuses. ;-) The guide-driver (quadrilingual!) was a real gem (available, attentive, polite, serious). Learned a great deal in his company and could ask him countless questions (with answers not found in guidebooks). Perfect weather (only a few hours of rain with an incredible rainbow). Good food (to our great surprise). Pleasant accommodations (yurts, homestays, or guesthouses). The trip was 100% successful thanks to the excellent collaboration with Nomad's Land. One desire remains, to return. ;-)
