I went on a great winter trip to Son Kol with Nomad's Land. It was well organized, guides were great, and left enough freedom for a real sense of adventure that group tours aren't always able to offer. I'd happily recommend them to others for trips around KG.
On our tour with Nomadsland everything was perfect, and it was one of the vacations of our life time. From the first day we contacted Fabian we were pleasantly surprised by the dedication and commitment he had put to build and organise the tour. Before and during the trip the communications was excellent and we were very impressed with the arrangements made for the entire trip. It was a unique experience and opportunity to see the untouched landscapes, spend time with local families and enjoy Kyrgyz hospitality. The Yurts family chosen by Nomadsland were simple however the overall experience was authentic. We were very happy by not being surrounded by any tourists. The accommodation and food was excellent. Our driver / guide made the trip really memorable. They have wealth of knowledge of Kyrgyzstan’s history, culture and geopolitical situation. It was worth having them with us as they really helped us connecting with Kyrgyzstan and understand the country. 1 week of exploration around Kel-Suu at the top, despite the vagaries of the weather. We can only salute the seriousness and professionalism of the agency. Easy contact, team attentive. In addition to being able to discover a place that is difficult to access for independent hikers - and absolutely superb - we also took a real pleasure in getting into Kyrgyz culture more deeply. A big thank you to our great guide (Fabien) for having been able to motivate us whatever the circumstances, inventing new recipes based on kurut and allowing us to better understand the country. We hope to be able to leave with Nomad’s Land as soon as possible!
Traveling to Kyrgyzstan is in itself a different experience and far from any imaginable stereotype; If you add an off-road guide, fun, versatile, communicative, aware of the well-being of the group and more decisive than McGiver in a hardware store, you have all the perfect components to make the adventure unforgettable! Mikel was able to extract from us, among thousands of moments of laughter and good humor, skills and a capacity for improvement that many of us do not even imagine. And, although a few weeks have passed, I can say that he has managed to transmit and maintain in all his spirit - probably innate - of struggle, adaptation, respect for the environment and for the cultures that are alien to us, as well as joy and gratitude for every little thing that we were able to enjoy. And also, the curiosity to learn and extract the positive from each new experience! (including misadventures) :) Anyone traveling to Kyrgyzstan should know that unforeseen events happen, but they are a perfect opportunity to redefine planning and be surprised by each new possible adventure. And that, Mikel knows. That's why in his red backpack, there are thousands of letters up his sleeve. Someone in the group defined him as a "human referent". Frankly, I can't agree more. Thank you Mikel for sharing with us your experiences and that wisdom that is so natural to you. And to Nomad's Land, for the signing piece! And above all, if you agree with him, ask him earnestly for "little carrion" (and write a comment here). As discussed with one of our 'trip designers', a good trip is one where you have fun and you are happy to come home to discuss it with your loved ones ... So, that the very good trip is the one that makes you want to do more and not to leave! ... It goes without saying that my 2 weeks with Nomad's Land was a very good trip. Good mix between cultural experience, skiing in various conditions .. I have felt like an Indiana Jones on several occasions! They worked with us to design a trip perfect for the needs of our young kids, seeing all the sights we wanted in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. English speaking guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful 15 days in Kyrgyzstan and wholeheartedly recommend Nomad's Land to anyone the country would tempt - and believe us it is worth it! The team is as competent as it is cheerful and dynamic, with a real desire for ecotourism (it's not just marketing at home and that's a pleasure) and exploring off-track trails. We were able to walk the Kyrgyz mountain trails alone in the world, at our (good) walking pace and having the impression of being Kyrgyz for a little while in our life. A huge thank you to all the team who greatly contributed to such a success of our trip, we hope to have the chance to come back to see you one day!

Fabien and the Nomad's Land team were available, flexible and very responsive throughout the organization of our trip. Our Kyrgyz guide, Nurbek, was very friendly, spoke French very well and adapted the program to our abilities and desires. Hiking and horseback riding, lakes and mountains, incredible landscapes and an extremely warm welcome from the families who welcomed us in their yurts. We ate well, and never went hungry (but we enjoyed the homemade jams even when we were no longer hungry :). A magnificent country like Kyrgyzstan, which we have been able to discover in all its splendor thanks to the Nomad's land team.

Working with Nomad's Land was amazing. I was able to completely customize my 3 day horseback tour through the Chong Kemin National Park. The guides they provided were amazing. As a group of two women, we felt incredibly safe and well taken care of the entire time. Will definitely work with Nomad's Land next time I'm in the region!
Traveling with another student in February 2018, I was able to appreciate the high quality service provided by the Nomad's Land team. She was able to answer us immediately, and draw with us in the space of a few hours a course adapted to our desires on the south shore of Lake Issy-Kul, starting from Bishkek. The advice on places to see and people to stay with (the eagle hunter, the Skazka canyon, Jety Oguz), as well as the prior organization of transfers and walks were excellent, and in fact this trip was more successful. The service is worth its price. I recommend !

Little given to write comments, this occasion certainly deserves it. I just arrived from Kyrgyzstan just a week ago, and what was initially planned as a great trip has turned out to be an unforgettable life experience. The imposing mountains of the country, its lakes, landscapes, the kindness and simplicity of its people have greatly marked in me the most pleasant memory that I will always keep from this trip. If the context already met all the requirements to become a great adventure, the presence of our guide, Mikel, has turned the trip into an experience that will make any lived image be accompanied by a smile. What to say about the great Mikel, as a guide he is extraordinarily decisive, and there were many complications that we were given, but he was always there to propose solutions to everything that happened to us. A great lover of everything he does, and always with knowledge, an endearing person and with a great heart, he has earned the respect and affection of all of us with the naturalness that characterizes him. And of course, he always guided by good humor !!. In my particular case, I lost my luggage on the flight stopover, and with little time for presentations, he managed to get my suitcase delivered as soon as possible. If I had to undertake any other journey, of course Mikel's presence would bring great peace of mind. Thank you for making the trip unimaginable !!!
